Nancy Pelosi
Harry Reid
Any Company that has potential to grow. Call this company X.

I would lose the $2 billion on my senator and congressman.... but after the new mandates to purchase shit from Company X... my $1 billion investment would be worth $10 billion.

I understood the question to be $1B split between 3 companies...not $3B split between 3 companies. In any case, greasing politicians isn't a bad strategy. The only problem with your attempt is that even a few million would be way more than what it costs to grease Washington. You can do a lot with half a million.

I would still spend 2/3 on senators and congressman. I would just get a few more than the two I picked. The remainder would then probably grow by a factor of 20. Sure senators can be had cheap... but if you give them more money to throw around at the local level there will be less resistance from the peons.

Ford, back in 2008/2009 when it was $0.80 a share for a while.

...I was just out college, young, dumb as shit, and naive as hell. But I had enough saved that I probably wouldn't be working now if I'd bought then -- I'd live like a bum now, but still.

If i had 1 billion I would probably invest in a number of small businesses to prevent them from being bought up by evil and to ensure they had money to continue operations regardless of their own cash flow.

I would invest in Bay 12 games if they owners were open to the idea.
I would invest in Squad if the owners were open to the idea.

Also I would start a brewpub and make many of my family members into slave laborers.

1. Tesla: Because they're the only ones seriously pursuing EV's.

2. Seedsavers: Because screw Monsanto.

3. Fox: So that I can veto them killing off shows like Firefly :awe:

Good choices! Could maybe also de-radicalize Fox News. I'd only replace 2 with GE, because all those Teslas need to get their power from somewhere.

I'd start a television network called "MINE" and take on Oprah.

I can dig that. 😛

Nikola Tesla would be rolling in his grave.

If I seriously had that sort of disposible income, I wouldn't invest with the goal of making money. I'd invest in companies that I think would make the world a better place, mainly non-profit.

Compainies involved in:
Alternative energys, mainly solar
Organic farm
Google Fiber, but only for fiber expansion

1) Anandtech - because owner is Indian and I support my indian homies
2) Apple - because Steve Jobs was half Arab! (his dad is 112% Syrian)
3) Ninteno - because they gave me a great childhood

Am I going for maximum risk/maximum return? If so, I want Tesla, Google, and Netflix.

If I need to live off this cash, though, I'm putting it in Government Bonds.
