I've only thought about this for the United States. Basically, I'd reinstitute the constitution by force, build algae based biodiesel production facilities in the southwest's deserts and push nuclear power.

Then I'd like to give the power back...but I'd have to find some way to take the money out of politics, and add an amendment that made violating the constitution by passing unconstitutional laws a treasonable offense, punishable by execution.

Then I'd wail on my guitar and pork some babes.

I would start to do major changes with population control. In other words charge for each child born to a person/couple. In which case each subsequent child born will be more expensive. That doens't take away the freedom, but it puts something to hinder more than a few children per family. This would apply to single parents as well. (Make people take personal responsibility for their actions) I would also force technologies for cleaner more efficient energy solutions. I would make all children take a placement exam which would place them in a curriculum best suited for them (they can voluntarily choose something else though).

Also instead of stripping cultural and religious identity, I would begin to shift populations, so that cultures would co-mingle. I would mandate freedom of speech everywhere and religious freedom as an inherent right.

As of right now, the US makes it easier on the parents who have a large amount of kids. Most families with a lot of children end up getting free rides to college, and there is a large tax writeoff for having many kids. This should be taken away. Unless the family is adopting kids, overpopulation is goign to be a major concern in the near future. Lack of resources and pollution both tie into this problem. The government needs to stop making it an incentive to have a lot of children, otherwise it will slowly become a problem. Single parents get large tax writeoffs and even government aid. Yet the growth of single teenage mothers in America has grown so much in the past 3 decades.

This would make the earth cleaner and livable, and also it would allow for more third world countries to run on electricity after some development with the technology.
