Ocarina of Time

I know to me, the Ocarina of Time was one of my favorite Zelda games of all time, the first 3D one on the N64 for people who didnt know.

That link is a project that some guy is working on translating the game into 2D like the old style SNES and NES versions.

It will be truly amazing to play a new zelda game in the 3/4 birds eye view, just like the SNES one. I think the SNES one was my favorite of all time, followed by Ocarina of Time, then the Windwaker. Check the link out, there is a VERY VERY small demo of it, and hopefully the new demo is released soon 🙂.

Haha sorry I didnt put that on there, yes it does make the top three. It's even in its own level above the ones I described. 🙂

I honestly was too young to really appreciate it at the time it came out. I had more fun playing the Original one on the emulators a few years back, and it was great cause I even beat it in one sitting heh.
 
As soon as Nintendo finds out they will sue your butts into submission.

They just got all Nintendo emulators to be illegal, so I suppose they can destroy you too.

Ummm first of all heh, I have nothing to do with this project i was merely showing people the project.

2nd of all, this game does not run on an emulator. it is a stanalone application. the project has been going on for over a year now, I think nintendo would have found out about it and shut it down already if it really bothered them.

I think you should check out the site before you make assumptions ...

Well, I did check it out.. looks good, but it using copyrighted Nintendo property and that makes Nintendo mad.

i really liked teh first zelda that came out on GB long ago i for get what it was called but it was good
 
no way. That's so hot. 😀 If I had more time, I'd read up on how he's doing it...I'm surprised one of the groups on campus hasn't done something like this yet.

Lunar Magic, the program used to hack Super Mario World and make new games, has been around for years and Nintendo hasn't bother to do anything about that. Some people have made complete new Mario games based on SMW but with an entirely new overworld map, completely new levels, and enemies/characters from every Mario game included. Good stuff... but many of them are harder than any games I have ever played.

Here you go, check these out: SMW Hacks

Check out Super Demo World and the SMW Plus series. Some of those are very, very hard. I had to resort to using save states to get past some points because I was getting too frustrated 🙂
 
I fail to see the point in taking a good game, and making it look worse. Link to the Past is a perfectly good game if you're feeling nostalgic for some SNES graphics.... no need to fvck up the 3D games to do that.
