ASA-2 means that the drive uses a SCA connector and thus must be only used in hot-swap applications. You need a special enclosure to use these drives and typically you use them with RAID as well.

somehow that doesnt seem to make sense. @ 23GB, that comes out to be less than $5181.44 which technically is true...
@ the original $24.95 price, it comes out to be $1.08/GB
@ the new $2.99 price, it comes out to be $.13/GB
