We (Myself and my girlfriend (AT member Czesia)) would have been in Phuket yesterday when the tsunami hit.

It's kind of a strange feeling...
 
never even heard of this place before the quake... surprised it's such a big spot for travelers.

We were trying to get home for christmas. We were trying to get a flight for Dec. 13th. If we didn't get the flight, we were going to Phuket for a trip (we were staying in Singapore).

Its a huge spot, and if you noticed alot of the tourists are Middle aged white men. Phuket has great beaches but its not what its most known for.
