i'd build my own, hands down.

edit: your 12gb of ram is WAY overkill. you don't need more than 2 (4gb maybe) MAX. also, only a 128mb video card.........hell no. you'd need like 512 or even quad 512s

I'm heavy into computer graphics so my workstation would have some quad opteron's, like 14 gigs of ram, and the best video card on the market. Some dualwide screen displays would be tight too. Sorry i'm not too familar with current hardware specs, so i can't give any actual product names lol

Top-notch AMD FX system...after all, I want to GAME, so I won't be going Intel.

And SLI. It's a total waste to spend your own money on SLI, but if it's all paid for...

Meh full of bugs.

Anyway
FX-60
Xfire x1900xt(maybe SLId GTX 512?)
one of those I-ram thingies for some games. I'd buy 2-3 and raid em, and fill them with 1GB sticks. (unless there are 2GB now)
4GB of RAM.
some DFI mobo
some cooling
some PSU
that creative xi-fi thingy ELITE PRO
and a case!

Then I'd OC it.

Whatever is fast, silent, has tons of ram, tons of storage and a kick ass display system.
I don't care about hardware anymore and all I do with my computer now is look at currency charts all day and all night.

HAHAHAHA. What are you talking about???? Intel sucks, 12GB of ram isn't much for unlimited funds, they don't make 1TB HDD's, WTF only a 128MB Video card????? They make 512MB ones that you can use 4 of giving you 2GB of video ram!!!

I have one put together, but the links are just links, no names. Here it is.

Oh yeah, replace that mobo with a Asus A8R32-MVP once it's released.

I would probably get some sort of quad processor rack mount server to add to my home network :p Running 16GB RAM, a few 300GB 10k U320 drives doing RAID 6. Hm... but then again it's not "really" a computer :D
