I want to be on the side of ultimate truth. At my level of capacity to do that I take no position. If everyone were like me Greenland would just be a place with a name on a map.
I remember first becoming there is something wrong with my head on these national pride issue. I was told better dead than red and I should sign up to die to protect the ego of an American President. I wouldn’t ask you to do that to save face. Why would I be obligated to do that for someone else? What if they gave a war and nobody came? Wouldn’t that make a mess of things? I’m just glad that all those people in eastern Europe, who used to live under communist rule didn’t kill themselves before they were set free.

Millions more are still fighting for their right to live... this very day. Have been for the past four years.
Would be conquerors need to be defeated. That saves the most lives. When it is they who pay the price, and not their would be victims.

You think all that death isn’t about Putin’s ego and either the fear or the glory of joining him. My position remains. It’s the ego driven collective madness self righteous believers that create the madness of war. There is always someone out there who has a theory that you should die for and all that amounts to is some sort of imagined self importance.
As above so below. Isn’t ego identification a pile of sacred cows and made up delusional beliefs we tell ourselves and that’s control our judgmental behavior. Why would others not do what we do every waking minute.

Maybe this is the painful part of history where the rest of the world wakes the fuck up and realizes they passively allowed the US to take over everything and just stuck their thumbs up their butts and hoped for the best.

I'm reminded of all the Americans that have criticised people in Gaza or NK or Russia (etc) for not standing up to their leaders and saying that they are just as responsible.
Theres troops from a lot of European countries in Greenland right now, its up to the US if they want to start shooting at people.
I'd rather we try to fix this one, it's not like this is some sort of unavoidable problem!
