If these men we fight in Iraq are truely Mujahadin, why do they hide their faces behind scarves? Wont their God protect them? Are they embarrassed of their actions?

It was 5 men .. majority of the hostages have been freed. Even when they had U.S Soldiers they did not harm them. Sometimes crap like this happens.. hell the U.S killed some of their prisoners too.
They hid their face because they dont want to get captured or identified. In their circle they might be cool but outside their circle I doubt their family and their neighbors can look at them if they knew.

Invaded to remove a brutal dictator because all of the Arabs in the region were too chickenshit to help out their Arab brothers and do it.

As far as ethnocentric values, cutting the head off of a bound man while shouting Allah Akbar is one value I'll leave to other people/cultures thank you very much.

They've always worn scarves, their history lies in a dessert area. My guess is that's just tradition in the middle East. Also you must admit the look more frightening this way, and I guess they would like that.

So the invasion was about removing Saddam and taking control of Iraq? I seem to remember some talk about terrorist links and WMD's and the great threat that Iraq was, then i heard something about a liberation, then i heard that they will be given a government (given, now isn't THAT democracy in action?) that will not control law enforcement, courts or security forces.

Beating a handcuffed undressed man to death is better? Raping and shoving chemical lights up their butt is better? Putting a leash around their neck, undressing them and posing with them is better?

I think i will leave that value to US people/culture thank you very much.
