That was a quote from a sportsman.

Interestingly, many who hunt and fish (typically 2:1 Republican) are now becoming alienated by the Bush Administration's policy to "Put public lands to work" (logging and gas & oil well heads). This is not a group who loves tree-sitters, tree-huggers, or "enviromentalists".

I never thought I'd see the day when local rod & gun clubs would actually consider voting out a sitting Republican president :Q
 

The sitting Republican President is ruining the country, and despite what he may have thought, the "anti tree huggers" still like to breath fresh air.

I think both parties make too-general assumptions about "groups", and are losing votes b/c of it.

IE, the assumption (in both parties!) that the vast majority of Democrats are anti-gun.
