MacOS X is ultra secure by nature. There's absolutely no way that stuff can get in. Ever heard of a Mac being hacked? I haven't either.

You obviously don't have a freakin clue.

I work on both platforms on a daily basis. I know what I'm talking about.

 Sure thing bub. Macs are a complete and total pain in the ass and the only reason people can't hack them is because there is rarely anything worth getting into on them. How many companies do you hear of that have fleets of OSX servers for all of their critical information? How many popular websites are proudly hosted on macintosh servers? Yeah, that's right. At BEST .01 percent of all the servers in the world run OSX. Why the hell do people seem to think that just because they don't get hacked that their configuration is awesome. The truth is, nobody gives a damn about hacking you. If someone wanted to get at you bad enough, as long as you are connected to the internet, they can find a way in.

Just because you work on both platforms doesn't make you an expert... and apparently doesn't mean you have much of a clue about why Windows falls prey to spyware more often. If you want to write spyware, why the hell would you cater to less than 10% of the crowd that uses an array of differing OS'es when you can go after the other 90% at once?

But good thinking, blowhole.

STFU
Please.

Your an idiot if you think it's "unhackable" because it's "so secure by it's nature." Your also an idiot if you don't realize market share has a LOT to do with the malware maker's target. Why would you want to "advertise" to 1/10th the market when you can get 9/10ths just the same?

Aren't you the one who was discussing how he worked for a spyware company to program this crap for both Windows and Mac OS X?

Yup, you are.

In addition to being a low-life of the programming world (or a bad imitation of one), you are inconsistent in your meaningless ramblings, constantly fall back on an elitist "I know what I'm talking about" cop-out to try and disguise the fact you're a blazing idiot, and presumably have a small penis.

Please die in a fire at your earliest convienence. kthxbye

You are a tool. There is no such thing as unhackable software. There is no such thing as a completely secure OS. And there is no such thing as perfect software or perfect hardware.

Mac OSX is Unix. I have hacked Unix (for an Information Assurance class in a lab at a Uniersity.) Therefore, Mac OSX is "hackable." EVERYTHING is "hackable." The only way to make an operating system unhackable is to provide absolutely no contact with the outside world and no user interface. But then, what would the point be?

And what is hacking to you? Are you saying it is impossible to compromise Mac OSX? You do realize that one weak password is all it takes to gain entry...If you don't know what I am talking about, ask your mom about rear entry. It's like that, only not as dirty.

And yes, I have heard of a Mac being hacked, you fvcking idiot. I hope you get fired from your job for being such an inept, uninformed elitist moron.

Well you said something that people assumed to be true without getting confirmation from you that you were either joking or serious. Even though you later contradicted the initial statement, people still take the worst possible solution (your initial statement) and run with it.

Do you or do you not work for a company for which "spyware" is written?

Yes I have. I do hope that was a joke, but sadly I suspect not...

From reading his original thread, its pretty obvious that he was pretending to work for a spyware company so people would think he "knew what he was talking about"... not realizing it was going to backfire in his face. He's just a shameless attention whore who wishes someone would take him seriously.

I've always felt that bragging that Macs are not hacked often is like bragging that Yugos are not stolen often.

I think you totally misunderstand me. I basically write bad parodies in 80% of my posts since I am sitting at my home office bored. Do you think I really care about my post's repercussions? Whether I do or not, I'll leave that up to your imagination.

I'll tell you straight up -

I don't write spyware and I am not a "Mac fanboy," although I've owned several of them including the recent Mini which I've already sold. I am not schizophrenic either which some of you may have believed. I'm just your average guy who enjoys life, guitar, women and have a sense of humour that visits odd tangents which not too many seem to get. I will continue to post idiotic posts in this forum and watch their responces as it is my form of entertainment and time killer. I will also keep continuing to post helpful responces as well and will post questions of my own too.

Lighten up and don't think you've pwned me for anything as I find that funnier than my own posts.
