Thats kinda sad if the first hing you think about with this quote is the ending of Deus Ex. I still find it funny when people quote famous lines and attribute them to movies or games that ripped them off (obviously in Deus Ex they at least credit Voltaire, but often they dont even go that far).

Anyways, alot of hte founding fathers of this country were Diests. Its a way of believing in a supernatural power while at the same time supporting enlightenment and science. God is the divine clockmaker who set all things in motion, not a puppet master who controls their every move. I know alot of people that are Diests, whats the point of this post anywats?
