If the password for the AnandTech Moderator account was leaked and you got it, what would you do?

Being a SysAdmin myself, I'd immediately notify the Mods and the Admin of the security breach, and assist them in any way possible in plugging the hole or finding the leak as the case may be.

Besides, you couldn't do any real damage with the mod account. After all, they have physical access to the server hosting the forums, that overrides your knowledge of the password. The most anyone could do is cause chaos for a little while before order was restored by the Admin and the offender(s) perma-banned.

Going a step beyond that, I think life in ATOT would become much harder after such an incident, Mods would become much stricter.

Go ahead, call me a spoil-sport.
