If the human brain was a computer what would its specs be?

every human brain works differently, so this thread is stupid. For example, my brain would be a quad quad-core Intel2 Xeon i9u running @ 9.3 Ptz (petahertz) with 9 TB memory running off of 1.21 jigawatts. you on the other hand are a fool running on a 100 Hz AMD knockoff with 36KB memory running off of gerbil in spinning wheel. sorry. i know life is tough for you.
 
So Paris' would cost about 40% as much as Gates but delivered 80-90 percent as much power.
 
i dont think it would be a single fast CPU but rather a parallel process of many CPUs. Also, it has and can retain an ungodly size data base that it can reference whenever there is a need.

CPUs are faster but the brain is MUCH MORE EFFICIENT. The big key is that a human can always beat a computer in calculation speed by just unplugging the PC.

I honestly think many of the posts are spot on. What exactly are you expecting? Equating the human brain to CPU/RAM/video card is with any remote degree of accuracy is absolutely absurd.
 
The hard drive is the weak part of a human computer. It has tons of storage, but the data integrity isn't so great.

It doesn't make sense to even compare. The performance specs we use for transistor based computers don't make sense for biological computers like our brain.
 
My brainpower is the equivalent of 42 networked Pleiades supercomputers.
