...against each other, who would win?

USAF, duh. Air power.

**EDIT**
On second thought. Navy.

Aircraft carriers plus planes for air cover (along with loads of fuel and ammo) and subs with nukes.

Yep.

Army relies on the air force...marines have their own planes, but the pilots arent as good and they dont have the highest end aircraft and tech...so yeah, USAF easy win. Nuke Army and Marines from orbit...literally...

Navy without a doubt. Air power without being shackled to a stationary land airstrip. Excellent land attack force.

Keep in mind that Marines are part of the Navy.

edit: oh yeah, and probably more nukes than anyone else

Moot point. Each has it's own weaknesses and depends on the other for survival. Navy or Air Force? No way.

In the end, no amount of bombing will win a conflict until a person occupies the land being contested. The Navy and Air Force could bomb a location into a glass parking lot but it's not really won until someone goes there to plant the flag. The Navy and Air Force does not do that, Marines and Army do that.

Yeah, navy has bits of everything.

I would say the Army wins because they can move inland way from the Navy if need be and if they mortar the runways the Air Force is in trouble. Army still also gets their attach choppers, right?

Army ... could easily overpower all the airfields and blockade all their supply lines. With no airfields and no supplies, air force would flounder.
Marines are tough SOB's, but there's a LOT more in the army, and they aren't exactly wusses. The Army's huge numbers would overwhelm the marines.
Now, the navy could stalemate them, by stayout out at sea, but, they would never successfully conquer anything other than maybe some beaches.

What's the size of the Army as opposed to the Navy? Both have their own aviators. Can the Navy "win" if it never makes it ashore anywhere because the Army controls it?

The USAF would be out of commission quickly - the other branches have air forces of their own and merely need to take out their bases.

You can take the Army off the list 😀

One sub could turn any army base into a glass bowl. Then send in a squad of Seals in radiation suits to plant a flag in the glowing debris.

I think the nukes on the submarines would tip the balance in favour of the Navy. Nothing the Army has could prevent the chaos from above.

Navy. No question.

The Army could put up a fight, but they couldn't handle a sustained naval attack.

Also, the OP states "if they were to go to war against each other who would win", which is not the same as "if they were to go to war over the united states who would win".

It looks like he just got back from a run or is about to go for a run. He's obviously not sedentary. It's probably on par with running on a tread on a boat somewhere.

I had to take my friend to the hospital on base a couple of weeks ago and it looked like a mini marathon was going on. A shit load of people had on their reflective gear and were running/drilling.

The use of nuclear weapons can only be authorized by the President.
Assuming the president joined the navy, the president would never use nukes on domestic ground against american forces, civilian casualties would be astronomically high.
If the navy somehow coerced the president to launch the nukes, there's more than one Army Base.
The Army would not sit there and wait to be nuked in the bases.
Enough of the army would survive that they would outlast the Navy in a long term survival in shitty conditions situation.

Probably a PT session or they were running a PFT
