if the Amish dont have electricity how do they heat with those Miracle heaters?

The Amish just build the mantle, the heaters are separate. Nowhere does it say they actually use the heater.

The next time you watch the commercial, note that they are selling only the mantle; the heater is a "free gift". The warranty they tout is therefore only on the mantle you bought; if the Miracle Heater fails, your only recourse is to pray for a miracle to "heal" it.

I would never buy an electric heater less than a 100% efficient.

I hope you're joking, all heaters that work by resistance are 100% efficient.

That's what he's saying.....

"Even people in California and Florida are flocking to get them so they may never have to turn on their furnace all winter."

We Florida folk do not install furnaces in our homes. We've got some silly electric thing in the A/C units air handler thats never been used. I don't even own pants, let alone think about heating a house.

If I was going to buy something sold as a "miracle heater", I would expect it to be MORE than 100% efficient.

You know, like a heat pump.🙂

They make them to encourage everyone else to use evil modern technology. More room in Heaven for them then.

It isn't that they don't have electricity (most don't), but their religion/culture is very heavily focused on self-sufficiency and utilizing technologies in a way that they consider beneficial to their way of life (see cellphones as an example). Most often, for their shops that use electric power, they use generators as opposed to electricity from the grid.
