if splitting Directv DSL, all i need is a hub? right?

since directv dsl gives a static ip address, all i need is a hub to split the line between two computers, right? if so, how do i set up the info under win2k? thanks

if directv gives you one static IP per computer you want to connect, all you need is a hub
otherwise, you need something that will be able to help you share the connection..

windows 2000 has an internet connection sharing function built in, but i have never tried it.
