Man your grocery store sucks lol.

The only time I see anything ever double/triple the price is if it's labeled "Organic".
It's not labeled organic just has labeled increased meat content and tastes better. To be really honest if that is fraudulent no one will ever find out, but I guess they do test random samples if the content labeled is also real content of the product. So it should be somewhat real, or genuine.

I mean going from 85%/15% meat/fat to 88%/12% or even 95%/5% has never been triple the price to me.

I don't know dude, I will capture the tags next time I visit this store, to share there is just something like "meat content: 95%" . Those that cost three times less are with 20-30% reported meat content, so I don't buy these because they are kind of low quality product and the taste and so on is nowhere near the pricey ones.

Hah, they ask if you want the whipped cream & cherry on top here so you can opt out :D

Picked these fellas today from the backyard. Hopefully they're not too sweet - wouldn't want to keel over from all the high fructose polysaturated yellow dye #8.
