If someone verbally yells at someone - Can they file a police report?

LOL, saw that, there wasn't an option to let me fix it.

The confrontation doesn't involve me, but the attack came from a bipolar freakazoid. I figure it may be worthwhile to have something on record in case the situation escalates later on or if there is another incident.

I like the dudes above saying yell back...we all know they'd be the ones looking at the ground and about to cry.

OP...if someone is just yelling you don't have much to go on. If they were threatening you and especially if you felt that you were threatened then it's a more serious matter.

Also a lot has to do where the confrontation took place. Getting yelled at at a restaurant is much different than someone coming up to your front door or into your back yard doing it.
