2000 wouldn't be enough... wouldn't cover the month long vacation from my computer using job either. Even if i was on a month vacation, i'd still probably have to remote in a couple of times so i guess thats a no.

Add another zero and I might consider it.

Jobs also offer paid vacation no0bs.

I would do it. I'd take my paid vaca, take the 2 grand, take a 2 week trip, then read. Alot.

$2,000 is not nearly enough. I could possibly do my job without a computer, but it would be a btch.

OP, why did you pick that amount?

Well I get paid a lot more than 2 grand a month to use a computer so I don't think so. Now if this were in my free time, hell yeah, when I get home the last thing I want to do is work on a computer, I maybe check my email, or respond to some IM's but thats it.

It depends if it is only for personal enjoyment or if all together. If you need them for work, that's a crappy deal.

$2000?!
Let's see... minimum wage... heck, I'll just hire an illegal alien to do all my typing for me.
I should come out about $1900 ahead, and still spend just as much time near a computer.

No way an "illegal alien" or any minimum wage, or skilled worker for that matter could do my job. Nor does 2k cover what I cost... not even close. I'd have to say no.
