If someone had a FT thread with the title "FT: Windows XP Pro (academic)" what would you expect to receive?

2 full version discs of win xp pro & license key. Academic here is not allowed, but trading is fine.

you cannot do that, FT = for trade, you are not permitted to sell those copies to my knowlege. anyways If I traded for it, I would expect to receive exactly what was stated, which should entail 2 win xp discs each in their own case, with COA, unless stated otherwise in thread.

<< I would tend to think for $80 you'd get just the sealed cds, with keys. >>

Yes, those are the ones given out by Microsoft at the Visual Studio Launch events...

Everyone trying to hook these on the internet should be kicked.
Get yourself an OEM version, about the same price, especially if you get the upgrade, and it is legal.

actually, if it is really academic version, lots of times it's just cdr with key....

if it is the xp pro from the .net presentation... it's just a hologrammed cd in sleeve with cd key sticker.

I would figure the same. Although, your not supposed to be selling them (alright, but trading for cash is the same thing! :p)
