Why do wealthy people from all over the world come to the United States for medical care and surgery? Even our awesome Canadian neighbors come here when they need immediate medical care. Why? I thought their system of socialized medicine was so superior to ours.

And to answer the question: People use America not because we're the greatest country in the world, but because we're the easiest to exploit. The 11 million illegals have confirmed this along with the assloads of countries who get billions in handouts from us and then shit all over America whenever they damn well feel like it.
Unrelated topic: I honestly believe kicking out the illegals would help a little with the medical care issues.

Universal healthcare isn't to benefit the wealthy. It's to get people on health insurance that don't have any.

Rich people will ALWAYS be able to go wherever they want.

Not really.
I'm a liberal atheist and I despise the notion of our government trying to fix all our problems. Mostly because they are incapable of doing it properly but also because it creates a nation of spoiled weaklings.
