Bunch here in Alaska too. If anyone REALLY wants one, there's no sales tax here. Shipping would be $30 or so?

May I however suggest a PS2 instead? I'll bet anyone $10 that God of War 2 is a far better game than anything released on the PS3 in the next 6 months.

I went to my local Walmart this morning, and they had about 20 each of every color for DS. No Wii or Wiimotes though.

man i am so glad i got my wii months ago. didn't have to buy a bundle (though i did buy 2 games when i got it).

got mine on black friday. got lucky also. went to Toys R Us at around 11am and they just put up a sign saying they had them in stock. by the time i got through the line i got 2nd to last one hehe.

I like how the EGM interviewer points out that they've already called several retailers and confirmed that PS3s are sitting on the shelf and Tretton basically called the interviewer and any retailer he called a liar.

It must be nice being able to live in your own little Sony VP fantasyland.

I haven't seen a Wii in stock in a store since I bought mine the day it released.

PS3's on the other hand...everytime I've been to Walmart, Meijer, Target, Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, gamestop, EB games....

Sony actually puts out some decent products, including their XBR lines of TVs which are some of the best for the price.
