If Peter Parker was bitten by a spider and got spider powers....

And what if he was bitten by a radio active cockroach? He could run like hell and survive a nuclear blast... or a really big shoe.

Cockroaches can't survive a nuclear blast (radio active is not the word, it's radioactive). They can survive slightly higher radiation levels that would be lethal to humans, but being too close to a blast will either vaporize the cockroach or (if not close enough to the heat) kill them via radiation poisoning.

Mythbusters FTW

I thought they showed that radiation poisoning didn't kill (all of) them? They were exposed to either ten thousand or a hundred thousand rads (can't remember which) and survived. Is this comparable to the levels in nuclear fallout?

We're talking genetically engineered, radioactive cockroach here... 😉

I think he does. I'm pretty sure he has a colostomy bag under his suit that collects it, then a tube going from the bag to his wrist, where he can shoot it out.

They just don't show this so they can keep the comics and the movies rated G/PG.

they would adapt to it, they way they have adapted to most poisons

more importantly, since the spider escaped, how come it hasn't bitten anyone else causing a flood of spiderpeople to emerge all over the city? In the comic the spider was radioactive or something so maybe it died, but the movie one was just a regular genetically engineered superspider. but even more importantly, how does PP get his fap on when MJ isn't around with those sticky thorn things coming out his fingers?

Wait, so cockroaches are like the Borg. Damn that pisses me off, I can't stand the little fuckers.

tobey maguire did a miserable job as spider-man. you don't get the idea for a second that he is smart enough to build web shooters.
