This is either gonna be really dumb or really cool. I was thinking the other day, people have described AT forums, and many other forums, as a genuine community, in that it has all the characteristics of any community.

So I got to thinking of AT Forums as like, a town. It says right in the description that OT is a "pub." So, what other buildings/locations might the other forums be? Would General Hardware be a school? Forum issues be a court or municipal building (city hall?).

Kinda cheesy I know, but I'm bored and this is bound to entertain me temporarily.

Maybe all the other "buildings" are work...then this is like the after-work bar we visit to reflect about the news and whatnot...

Hot Deals is the local Fry's... heh.

You could also argue that Off Topic is the mental hospital. ;)

Somehow "pub" isn't quite right.
Could be a typo.
Maybe they meant "tub" (woohoo, guys 'n' gals, Jacuzzi party, clothes optional!) ;)

It must be a pub because I sit here and sip Absolute on the rocks while I read the forum.
