If Obama is not elected, will there be violence in the streets?

We all know Obama has the lead according to polls. But do we know how many more will be first time voters and are not included in the poll? The overwhelming majority of first time voters will be voting Obama and IMO will be a huge force, as much as 10%. If for some reason, these votes are not counted or disqualified and McCain gets in as President, do you see riots in the streets? Violence?

It could go both ways. You could also see violence if Obama is elected and a few 'rednecks' go berserk.

I just hope people won't do that either way.

I'll be suspicious, to say the least, if he keeps up his current lead and doesn't win the election.

I dont understand your premise. Thats not possible. Registered voters show up with thier legal ID and vote, that is that.

If McCain wins by a valid election, No there wont be riots. Give some credit to America.

It would not surprise me to see some, yep. To a lesser, but still possible extent, it wouldn't surprise me to see some pro-mccain violence by some hicks when he loses. There is no doubt, though, that at least covered by the news the largest group of riled up clowns has been on mccain's side, not obama's, so a loss of mccain perhaps could be more of a concern.

You bring up a point but I think they are the minority compared to Obama's support. Do I think there will be disgruntled 'rednecks', yes. Will they be enough of a force to disrupt normal every day life? Riots? No. I think the biggest threat they pose is isolated events.

Many McCainanites will claim it as a valid election as long as McCain wins, regardless of how many hundreds of thousands or millions of votes they make sure aren't counted through legal chicanery.

Sorry, its my fault for not being more clear in the OP. What I am talking about is the rash of disqualified voter registration. Either ACORN or some other ignorant reason. How many will be disqualified? For what reasons? I think there is a lot of things we don't know or things we can't measure accurately yet.

If Obama looses, and there is any sense of voter fraud, then we can replace 'L.A.' with every large city in the USA.

Woah yeah
It was a night, L.A., burning bright
Oh what a night
Say yeah,come on
It makes my world stand still
Ahh riot, rape, race and revolution, ah yeah
Here come the fire, and my world burns still
Yoww say yeah

Well, you can rock this land baby yowww

Like a shock to the system
I feel good, well alright
Like a shock to the system
Say yeah, ain't it irie

It was a night
Hell of a night, L.A., it really was
Oh what a riot
I said yeah, come on
It makes my life feel real
Fear police and civil corruption oh yeah
Is there a man who would be king
And the world stood still
Ah yeah loud

You can rock this land baby
Yeahhh

Like a shock to the system
It feel good, well alright
Like a shock to the system
I said yeah, come on baby
Shock to the system
Feel good, well alright
Like a shock, shock to the system
I say yeah, I say yeah, I say yeah
Come on baby

Yeah, well you can rock this land baby
Like a shock, shock to the system
It feel good, well alright
Like a shock to the system
I say yeah
Ain't it irie

Shock to the system
It feel good, well alright
Like a shock to the system
I say yeah
I say yeah
I say yeah, come on baby

Shock to the, shock to the
Shock to the system

Shock to the, shock to the
Shock to the system
Yeah I gotta
Shock to the, shock to the
Shock to the system
Yeah I gotta
Shock to the, shock to the
Shock to the system
You could be king
[laugh]
Or I could be king
Yeah well
You could be king
Or I could be king
Well I gotta
You could be king
Say it louder
The world still burns
You could be king
I could be king
Yeah well
You could be king
Say it louder
I could be king
You could be king
Say it louder
The world still burns

So what are you trying to say, Obama supporters are mostly barbaric monkeys that will result to violence? What happened to the highly educated wealthy crowd? Say it isn't so...

IDK if thats sarcasm or seriousness.

I don't think Obama supporters are 'barbaric monkeys', I just know they are the majority. When they vote in overwhelming support of Obama and he is not elected flashbacks of the last two elections will cross their mind and (IMO) they will rise up as if to say "We will not take it anymore". I would actually support their uprising being that they were the majority. The democratic process has to work no matter who I want to win. Obama is JAP (Just Another Politician) in my mind but I'll be damned if the people's voice be silenced.

This is why elections are held in the winter. People tend to be a little more crazy when its hot out.

I don't think so. The majority is definitely Obama and the minority is McCain. Knowing this, it would seem more likely that a riot or violence may occur if the voice of the majority is shunned. McCain losing on the other hand would have some grumblings but nothing on the magnitude of the Obama camp. Rightfully so (as stated before) they should stand up and say something. The past two elections have been questionable to say the least.

I dont think they can disqualify anything... Registration and voting is different... To vote, you need a legal ID at your local voting place, you cant just go anyhwere... So Johnny registered 70 times for Acorn can still only vote once.

1) Some legal IDs do not have an address
2) Some states & people are against having to show an ID at all (voter fraud does not exist if it helps them, otherwise it is discrimination)
3) One can ACORN across different precincts

Of course not. Our fine public school systems, that provide the most expensive public education in the world, have educated our children well enough to be above that kind of crap, haven't they?
