If nobody gets the door will fedex leave the package at the front door?

i think there is an option that requires a signature. If a signature isnt needed, they'll probably leave it on the front door

They do for me down here in FL, and UPS dosent (but ive heard different people with different answers)

what he said

depends. my express guy dosent leave without a sig. my ground guy does, probably just because of volume.

you might want to go to the local center and put a release on file if you want them to leave all the packages at your doorstep from now on

Sometimes they will. The one asshole FedEx guy would even leave stuff that had to be signed for. Thankfully he doesn't do this route anymore.

You can call and instruct Fedex to leave the package at your door, or hold the package at your local Fedex station before the package gets to you. I have no idea how Fedex decides whether to leave or keep the package if you don't tell them anything. Sometimes I've found the packages left at my door, and the other times they didn't leave the packages behind(this is ordering from the same vendor, newegg.com).

For FedEx to leave it you need to have a waiver on file. Ultimately I think some drivers do whatever they want though. One less package they have to deliver they next day.

It goes something like this....

Certain deliveries require signatures, where the actual driver must get a recorded signature from someone that accepts the package (say UPS delivering speakers). Some deliveries need a signature, but not by someone in person. So, you can leave a sticky pad on the door telling the delivery guy to leave it at the door, and then sign it (with teh name of the person the package is being sent to). If you leave the sticky note out and you get a note saying that a signature is required and the guy will back at a certain time, then you know what kind of delivery you have
