I guess that means your co workers are smarter than you? They get paid for doing MUCH less?

There's a guy that sites behind me that makes more personal calls during the day than anyone I've ever heard. And we're in a call center so that means he's not only not doing work during that time but others have to do more work because of it.

Damn slackers.

i worked a lot less compared to my previous job, and my job before that. and i am making a lot more than i used to.

if you don't already know by now, your salary is inversely proportional to the amount of work

you got it all wrong

if salary was based on how much work people did, public accountants would be billionaires

Exactly! It's now how much work you do, its how much work people THINK you do. If you can finish a project that everyone assumes should take 20 hours in 2 hours.... knock it out, then nef for the other 18 hours, stating you ran into "unforseen issues" and such

I spend half of my time being approached by co-workers because they don't know how to do something that they assume I already know. 95% of the time I know the answer or a resolution to the issue.

These are people who are considered equals to me as far as pay goes...

Needless to say I resolve less than them, I'm busy helping someone else rather than working on shit assigned to me

I've become a crutch for my co-workers and in the end it will make me look like I accomplish less than them.. I can't wait to try to explain this at my next review
