Holy crap.

I bought Brembo rotors for under 40 bucks each..that's good enough for me..calipers cost about 60 bucks each. Bendix pads were under $50. Brake shoes should be about 12 bucks. This is for a '98 Corolla.

Man..you got ripped...

Rotor $51.49/side
 
I did all 4: calipers, rotors, pads, and front wheel bearings on my wife's Regal for under $250. Took about 5 hours. Not much to it, really.

Whoops, that price only includes 2 calipers.
 
Sounds like they needed some beer money the last time you were there

With all that they replaced, you'll likely only need pads this time -- if you act fast.
Don't ignore it.

btw: they screwed you on parts -- don't fall for that again
