Pretty funny. And I predominantly use Windows - at least for the time being.

There's something about many MS products that's just a little off - even the various API's.

And I'm not an MS basher - they make lots of money so they must be right, right?

Fvck Apple and all those who bow down to their crap, I am in the software engineering business and if I had a dime for each time I felt like reaching for Steve Job's jugular on the job I would have been richer than he is!

if it was an alternative reality where microsoft never materialized, this would be the post that we would all be seeing.

Well, I am already saying that today Fvck that overpriced fashion designer company and that hypocritical knob gobbler Steve Jobs, he turned users into a bunch of snobby simpletons.

It's true. I've been "forced" to use gmail lately and am slowly converting. It really is just a superior product in so many ways to hotmail.

Well, in that case, I might have you give Fedora a shot sometime.

At gunpoint 😀

Might makes right?

It seems that MS is more of a marketing company than a technology company. This is not to say that marketing great technology is a bad thing - it just seems that MS focuses on marketing first and then the substance.

That's it all right!

I don't know why I keep my old hotmail account, even if it IS the designated "potential spam" address.
Pretty funny - this is precisely what I use my hotmail account for.

Um, my Hotmail looks nothing like that. Maybe it's because I'm not using the new style version, but the old-style new thing, which is still an option.
It has 1 ad banner at the top of the screen, and that's all. No chat box, spam is actually often kept out reasonably well (it seems to be much better recently).

I don't see the fuss about GMail really, maybe it's because I'm still against it for eating a couple of emails of mine a while ago that were finance related.

Dude, it puts ads into the signature of every email you send! You're delusional if you're trying to stand up for Hotmail and it's ridiculous amount of suck.

Fail, maybe then it'd have folders. And not start marking TONS of my important mail as spam.

I don't use hotmail to really compare, but there are some things about gmail that really suck.
