If Jesus was real, would he use iPhone or Android phone?

I approve of this thread. It sparks controversy on many levels; religion, technology, history. Nicely done.

If Jesus were real, someone would have hung a cell antenna on the cross.

I guess they can call Jesus on the glory telephone.

If we ask the same question about Prophet Mohammad, would it be considered blasphemy?
Sure, by some folks. Asking the question about Jesus is probably considered blasphemous by some folks. So what? It is likely impossible to get through a day without blaspheming one god or another. People who want to be offended will find ways to be offended.

Cell antennae on mosques don't seem to be as common as antennas on churches at least based on not-too-thorough google searches.

Jesus would have no need for a phone, but his disciples would likely use droids; they are more of the common people than the others.

He'd have a feature phone. He would communicate with his closest friends and family members either by talking to them, or by walking to their houses and seeing them in person.

Paul would be following him around with a microphone and you could subscribe to the podcast, but Jesus would be ambivalent about the whole thing.

How would Jesus handle tech support calls from his mom?

Jesus would wander and hitchhike around the country, occasionally using some prepaid phone. After his apparent alien abduction, alleged dick pics would be released onto reddit, conservapedia, and some guy's news blog, purportedly courtesy of some bag lady he met and hung out with for a while.

If Jesus bought a phone, he'd buy a blackberry, and turn it into an android. Apple is the path of temptation and sin, he would avoid it. It is the forbidden fruit of phones and turns you into a hipster.

Or Windows Phone, apparently we're statistically more likely to have an STD than iPhone or Android: http://www.nerve.com/love-sex/windows-phone-users-get-more-stds-than-anyone-else

Yeah, I was thinking that as well. At the very least, it doesn't look like a cell phone antenna.

Cell phone transmitter antennas are actually directional (there's typically 3 per tower, they're called sectors. Typically called Alpha, Beta and Gamma or X Y Z)

There are sometimes more antennas since there are different frequency bands. The 3 pointing in the same direction are all one sector but different frequency/techs, ex: CDMA and HSPA.
