The pathetic truth in my opinion is that Christ was speaking to all of us. We are not the fishers of men, but those they came to save. We are the lost in need of redemption. It is the ego that makes us think we are the Christians whose duty it is to save, that we speak for Christ and are on His side. Jesus taught what character traits we should strive for to be Christians, not what characteristics we should point to to condemn other people. We are all deficient and should point only at ourselves. But it's such fun to play God, no?

The great obstacle every religion faces when the teacher is gone, is that the adherents believe they understand the message their religion was designed to teach that they have transcended instead of being at the bottom of the rung.

81.40% of the people voting in this thread are idiots. Why in hell would Jesus favor Democrats? Republicans are the ones praising his name and holding him dear to our hearts. Democrats are more concerned about helping the poor and the sick that are bleeding our economy dry than they are about loving the son of the lord.

Nobody at the Republicn convention actively got bent out of shape and denied God. Apparently a 2/3 vote means that fully 1/3 of the Democratic convention denys Gods very existence.

Also, assuming that Jesus existed, and Gods word is in the Christian Bible, God does not endorse abortion at ALL.

SO, Republicans are idiots that can't seem to get things right, and Democratsare composed of those (1/3 of them) that don't believe at all in God and believe it's OK to murder his children, which is funny since Biden and Pelosi claim to be Catholic which STRICTLY forbids abortion for any rationale.

Simple answer I think.

Who cares?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Think think Howard, if you and so many others claim to be Christians, you and other self professed should care and care very deeply. Unless you are a total hypocrite like most Christians.

Jesus would not vote for either party. He was not concerned with political power. Also, neither party holds to His ideals. Both parties are dedicated to exploitation.
