You would need storage the size of the internet in order to download the internet. Maybe a little more for your OS. Unless you rar it....
 
I don't know but I think it would be really cool if we got as many people as possible to try and do it simultaneously one day. :laugh:

The Internet was measured at over 532,897 terabytes nearly six years ago. Let's go with that figure.

If everyone on the internet used a program to synchronize and download a single part of the internet, ripping the beast piece by piece, could we take it down in one day?

Would every single active internet connection be enough to take down the internet in 1 day?
 
what do you mean by internet, is my computer part of it? since i host a server for my own use.
