If i ordered something w/ Fed-Ex Express Saver how long till it gets here? (LOOK WHERE ITS GOING!)

Its coming from only 100 miles away, right up I-75 (Valdosta, GA to Gainesville, FL)... Express Saver (from Newegg) usually takes 3-4 days, but this is MUCH closer.. Will it get here faster?

I advise you to stay on top of it and call them if it's in your area. I say this for a reason:

A couple years ago I had a package sent via FedEx Saver, and it actually reached my city in something like 2 days...so I called them and wondered why I hadn't recieved it yet that day, and they said it wasn't scheduled to come to me untill tomorrow. I asked why and the lady said "because you did not pay for 2 day service". I was pretty upset, but I cooled down and I can kinda understand. Thankfully they allowed me to go pick it up. I would have flipped my lid if they wouldn't let me at least do that 🙂

it used to be i ordered from newegg, fedex saver, it'd get to me in 2 days

then they started holding it for a day cuz i didn't pay for 2 days ^_^

I don't know why this happens, seems that shipping companies could cut their costs significantly if they'd stop shuttling stuff halfway around the world only to drop it off a block from where it started. My boss had a shipment from VA go to Atlanta, Alabama, back to Atlanta, do the Atlanta/Hapeville/Atlanta shuffle and then finally to him in Lawrenceville. Ridiculous.

When you are ordering from a close place, in your case, 100 miles away; always order Ground service! For FedEx Ground, it will arrive next day, at least in every one of my experiences similar to yours.
