If I need to send TRACERT results via email, how do I do it?

I am talking about a DOS prompt TRACERT command. Do I take a screenshot and then dump it into a Word file or something? I'm at a loss, though I suspect that there's an easy way to do it (dump to a text file, maybe? how?).

Thanks.

Highlight the text in a DOS box and hit <enter>. It should now be in the clipboard.

Type this:

tracert address > trace.txt

The file trace.txt contains the results.

I used that feature in DOS/*nix's all the time before I was taught how to open/close files in programs. We used file redirection for input, and output:Q

EDIT -- oh yeah, I'm a young-fart ;)

I'll admit to occasional flatulence, but I am by no means "old". :p
