Probably not. Usually that stuff only works on the primary display adapter. Of course there's always gotta be an exception to the rule, but I don't know of one.

I've never tried it, but I believe it should work. As long as you have the displays working independently (no clone, stretch etc), all the features from both should be available. IMO.

Thanks for the answer guys. The reason I'm asking this is I want to get a cheap ATi PCI card to use for a second monitor and TV-Out. Has anyone tried this before?

I have an Asus A7V with an Athlon 1.2 and a Geforce 2 Ti and an Geforce 2 MX.

I use Windows 2000 and everything works just fine.

I think you should go for it and I think it will work fine, but I reckon it depends on your OS. Windows 2000 fully supports multiple monitors.

Nowthen, when I have run games they use only the primary monitor, but so what, your system should work how you want. By the way, you can make either card your primary (in W2K).

I have never used the TV out.

I have also had a Radeon 64mb DDR with TV in/out and a Radeon 32mb PCI and again everything worked fine for me and I have no reason to think the TV capabilties would not also.

I recommend a Radeon PCI card or their All-in-wonder Radeon deal.

I read in some other posts about tv out that the Radeon's tv out is really good. Is this only for Radeon's? What about the tv out with the older Rage chips?

<< What about the tv out with the older Rage chips? >>

Rage Fury Pro 32MB AGP VIVO, All-in-Wonder Pro, and All-in-Wonder 32MB have the same TV-out as the Radeon line. The other older Rage 128-based cards don't have as good of TV-out. And anything older than Rage 128 is not good at all.

I am interested to know too.
Planning on converting this old rig to a small VCR-DVD-DivX.... viewer.

I am thinking something in the line of a used ATi PCI card w. TV-out combined with the on-board i810-DC100 video.

Thanks for the info Workin'. I've been looking for a cheap ATi PCI card with tv out but they're still pretty expensive. Maybe I can find something on the FSFT forum.
