If I had $150,000 to burn on a car...

Thats the problem with these threads..half the people say they would spend xx amount then save the rest. What would you get if you had 150k to buy just a car, and nothing else?

Ariel Atom (as seen on the latest TopGear) and a downpayment on a house... that is a much better investment of 150k 😀

First Bentley then I've heard being advertised so much. Looks like they are targeting the more affordable section of the nation

i'd probably get a gallardo, or whatever one is the cheaper lambo. i think its still over 150k though.

in reality i dont think i could ever justify spending 150k on a car. i think once you get past about 50k on a car you get a huge amount of diminishing returns per dollar spent. so a 150k car might be twice as good as a real good 45k car.

The CEO of the company I work for has one in silver. Nice car but I suspect he paid more than $150k for it as would you, if you had that much money that is.

Damn that lucky SOB. Yea, but if you were planning on spending $150,000 - what's a few more thousand? 😛

once you get past $15k it's a waste of money...you can get a used M3 for that.

I suspect it was quite a bit more than that. I don't really know that those car rags know what anything costs if it doesn't have a window sticker on it. Hell, even if it does that doesn't mean that's what you can actually buy the car for. For the rich it's like a big game of how you can out do one another.

There is a very limited supply of these cars in the US. You do the math.

Edit-Do you really think that $640k would buy you a Ferrari Enzo?
