If I get an A+ certificate, can I earn over $60,000 per year?

Some of the folks here don't even have degrees, nor certificates and they still bring in 6 figures salary. So anything is possible.

just need some other stuff to go with the A+ cert

No, $30 an hour is totally possible with nothing but an A+ cert. Just run a computer repair business out of the basement. Even a small-scale operation can bill $30/hour without raising any eyebrows. You'd probably get 3, 4 hours of work a week, too, so that's a whopping $120...Every. Single. Week. Combine that with your allowance money, and you can afford to get a couple upgrades for your gaming rig every month!

you'll get there with experience after getting your foot through the door, i haven't done a cert since '99, I had mcse out of college, been at hedgefunds since. Between 2000-2008 bonus where basically 100-125% of what you make, now its less like 60-70% depending on fund performance.

So yeah, basically I dont really have any certs now and still making more than enough to feed myself.

I'd say $200/hr is possible. You just provide additional "services". Preferably out-calls, though in-calls should work too?

A+ Certificate is just that a certificate. Get real on-hand experience and if you're good, probably earn close to that amount in a few years.

As a person making 55k with just an A+, Network+, and some experience... it's possible. Easy? No. Get a degree or more certifications if you can swing it.

With just an A+ Cert? Possible, yes. Likely, no. An A+ often gets your foot in the IT door as an entry level help desk tech or desktop support tech. Depending on the firm and location, that could be anywhere from a 25K/yr to 35K/yr.

People forget that the A+ isn't supposed to be a career certification, its a foot in the door certification. You use it to get the starter job and begin building your resume, experience, network of colleagues, etc.
