If I ever tile another room with 1" slate tile, I'm gonna do myself in🙁
Dear god, it's the most tedious thing I've ever done, still have ~3 days worth of work to do (most of it waiting for mortar/grout to cure)...
Danm stuff breaks too easily, the border my wife picked out has 4 diff styles/sizes of stone in it, have to tear up the mats & cut the individual pieces to make the corners.
It's going to look great though😀
