There has been a few instances of the Mods deleting inactive accounts and giving the names to longtime members. The member crab used to have a number after his name. He asked the Mods if he could have the name crab because the original crab hadn't visited the site in a few years. I've you've been inactive for a long time it is possible that the Mods will give your name to somebody else that really wants it. I don't think you have to worry about that, Stilewag.

That's how I got my username too.
