If I buy something off Ebay that has a mail in rebate...

I bought a network card (specifiically Netgear Wireless PCMCIA card) that has a $10 MIR. It was brand new, in packaging and everything. What do I do about showing a receipt? Would they take a printout of the Paypal transaction or something like that? Anyone tried something like this before?

Thanks

I guess what I don't understand is if I have the original UPC/serial codes and a way to show when I purchased this card off of Ebay, then why wouldn't they accept it?

The rebate was not written for second hand purchases.

If you're buying from a business on ebay, they can probably write you a receipt from that business.
If it's from a personal seller, then you're SOL.
