Sorry for the noob question. :/

I did a search but i couldnt really find anything. It sounds like Nero automatically converts the files so theyll play on a regular CD player? Im not positive though.

Like tw1164 said, if you select Audio CD then pick your MP3 files it will burn a CD capable of being played in regular CD players.

If you burn them as straight MP3 files (a data disc) then you will need a player capable of doing that.

I remember having to convert MP3s to WAV files in the early days of CD burners, but you don't have to do that anymore.

My DVD/CD players have no problem with MP3 files on a CDR. They play perfectly. But, like was said, it depends on how new the player is. Those made during the last 2 years generall have no problem.

Nero converts for you?
I haven't made a regular audio disc in a long long time so forgive me for asking. MP3 headunits ftw!
And yes those conversions could take quite a while.

ig you burn as an audio cd, it automatically converts it to a readable format for your regular cd player.

Cool, thanks for the tip! Not sure that I'll ever need it but it sure beats converting!

Thanks everyone, you guys were right. I just dragged the MP3 files into Nero, burnt them as an audio disc, and it plays great on my regular CD player. :D
