If they charged about $5 a year I wouldn't my paying, but they would never do that to begin with. The will probably charge for various other features, but the search engine will always remain free (crosses my fingers).
 
Depends on the price, but probably yes based solely on my usage. I google constantly and for everything. I'm a google whore.

All goods and services are worth a price to those who use them. The question would be do those users see the goods or services being worth the price they're being charged.
 
They probably wont do it now but in the future? Who knows. Depends who's running the show. Not all executives have brains. But this is one reason as to support more than just one company; don't let them have a monopoly.
