The only way it would end it is if you saw god when you died, and could come back to confirm. If you didn't see Him it wouldn't prove anything either way because for all you know he isn't into these tricks and since you're dead for good you won't see heaven until you are.

I don't really know what I will see when I die, but whatever I would see, I'm sure it is the truth. Because I would be dead.
