Nope. I can sing, I just know I can't sing with any degree of skill other than "terrible", so I wouldn't even bother.

If I go, I would definitely be one of those people on TV at the beginning of the show (ie. those who suck the most) :)

if it's not limited to voice talent, and you can play say, a jazz piece on the piano, or something based on solo instrumental, then I might consider it. Sorta like any other musical audition out there minus the sight reading and scales.

oh, and the judges really don't have the experience to distinguish true skill on a musical instrument, so I can just play something really chordy and with simple repetetive runs on the piano and it would seem like a hard piece, yet be really easy :)
