If given the chance, how many of you would try out for American Idol?

Actually, I weren't ready, and I had other shiets to do (I didn't know they were, and when I did, it was late). But I'm thinking about next year....

I still play the guitar once in a blue moon, and I do enjoy singing, but I have the sense to know I'm not very good at it. They probaby don't want to hear and Bob Dylan songs anyway.

If I didn't have to wait in a long ass line for days at a time and was given an appointment to show up at said time and only wait at max an hour, I'd sure as hell be up for it. My family and friends would sure get a kick out of it and I don't think I'd do that bad but I sure as hell wouldn't make it past the 1st round.

you know to actually see the judges you have to get through like 6 rounds of producers/etc right?

One of my friends here at school did the tryouts in LA....

You either have to be REALLY good or REALLY interesting to actually make it to the judges/get seen on tv.
