i don't like Bush one bit, but to have him assasinated is no good for anyone. It's not really Cheney that I'd worry about, he'd likely have a massive coronary anyways and die on the spot after hearing the news, it's the sudden lack of "leadership" and the hubub concerning what to do next that would worry me. Sure, a "terrorist" might do it, but it would most likely be a multigenerational American citizen, as it usually is.

I wouldn't cheer the man's death but I would certainly be happy about the fact that he wasn't in charge anymore. Cheney doesn't have the dumb son-of-a-former-president charm that GWB has, and I just don't think he'd be able to get away with as much crap without people raising hell. That and the fact that all someone has to do next is blow up a paper bag and pop it at the right time and he would probbably keel over dead from a heart attack.

I don't know how I would initially react though, probbably just shock.
