I'm thinking smartphone app required to vote + online registration + photo ID that has to be scanned in and uploaded.

Oops, the app doesn't work on smartphones except the ones with the latest version of iOS/Android installed.

Define the 1st amendment and how it applies to private individuals and companies vs the government.

After all conservative politicians are complaining about voter quality. If you can’t accurately do the above you are not a quality voter.

Define Marxism, communism, solcialism, capitalism. And finally ask if Medicare is socialist.

Medicare... GI bill, farm aid, rural broadband fund, federal crop insurance, milk subsidies, federal highways, the list goes on
 
To build on what SmCaudata said: flip the script and give disproportionate weight to urban voters. Texas alone would panic.

Mind you, it's still sad that Democrats could 'rig' elections simply by making them fair (i.e. no gerrymandering, an abundance of polling locations, no arbitrary voter ID/mail-in restrictions).

Seriously???? It's happening NOW. What republicans are doing in republican controlled states WILL DEFINITELY BACKFIRE. In this last election I know of more republicans in my family that voted and relied on absentee than did democrats in my family. Believe me, republicans typically are more in the need for fast easy voting and that means voting absentee and or early voting. Too many republican soccer moms are way too busy with the kids and with working and running around to maintain the household, so standing in line to vote is the last thing they want to do. Voter restriction will hit republicans harder than democrats. Republican controlled states would know this if they bother to do the math. And when Biden wins a second term come 2024 against Trump, who will republicans then blame for their loss? Automobiles? SO they will pass laws banning minorities from driving a car on election day? They forget that minorities have feet as well as their disposal. So then will it be the banning of minorities wearing shoes on election day? My advice to republicans would be to run better candidates. To run candidates that actually have a brain and have morals. But that would leave out Donald Trump, and Ted Cruz, and Mitch McConnell, and so on and so on and so on....

Did you mean anyone who denies Trump-Russia collusion shouldn't be able to vote? If so that would make more sense as those people would be dangerously delusional.
 
Per capita voting locations and equipment is probably the only one that wouldn't also hurt a substantial number of poorer minorities that often live in urban areas. Any thing that requires internet or smartphones will affect a lot of people.

Massive government voter outreach targeted in densely populated areas of the country. It's similar to voter ID because it would advantage people of color who disproportionately live in these areas.

I can hear the weeping and gnashing of teeth by Republicans if we did this.
 
IMO the right to vote and to participate in our government is THE most central and fundamental right under our system of government, and I view any effort to limit the legal right of any American citizen of voting age or the practical ability to vote is unamerican activity of the most vile degree.

The fact that one party actively promotes such actions is a sure sign on how far we are sliding to a complete collapse and switch to strongman rule. This is not a sporting game where all that matters is your team wins.
