If CHKDSK keeps scanning my I:(HD) drive on bootup, is my HD going to fail soon?

I have no problems using my I drive right now, but Windows XP keeps insisting to check my I drive for errors when I bootup. I have an IBM Deathstar 60, is this a prelude to destruction?

if you don't shut down correctly you'll get that everytime.

What's your "I" drive? Is that a partition or a separate HD?

i can't say for certain, but you should back up your important datas just in case. Sometimes raid gets errors though... what raid setup did you use?
