If Brett Favre beats the Packers

I heard today that if Brett Favre wins tomorrow night against the Packers, that he will be the only QB to ever have a victory against every NFL team. Is that true?

Who would be second on the list? Joe Montana maybe? He had a long run with SF and then played in the AFC for a couple years with KC. Or maybe Brian Griese, he bounced around to a lot of different teams and had a lot of wins. Vinny Testeverde? Who else might be close to beating every NFL team?

I think that is a pretty amazing record, though I don't know if it is true.

I don't find it amazing...its a record that disqualifies a player who plays with the same team his whole career.

It is true, he will be the first QB to do it if the Vikings win tomorrow.

Terrell Owens has beaten all 32 teams.

Then there is Tom Brady, who has beaten all but one team (The Pats)

Good point. Elway, Marino, Aikman and others had long careers with the same team. But I still think it is really an awesome feat / record to be able to claim a victory over every single team.

That's retarded. And it would be a completely separate stat/record/feat.

To even qualify to attempt to hold this record you would have had to have played in or after 1996.

Why? Because of the expansion teams? I think it would still be at the same level even when there were fewer teams.

Prior to 1996: No Ravens. Also, prior to 1995: No Panthers and Jaguars.

I forgot about the Texans...2002.

Oilers=Panthers=Texans, right?

and Browns=Ravens?

...The only new teams would be the new Browns and the Jags, right? The Titans moved from somewhere else, no?

Oilers = Titans
Old Browns = Ravens
Panthers & Jaguars both entered the league in 1995
Texans entered the league in 2002
New Browns entered the league in 1999

Hehe, good one chuckywang.

But, cool tidbit of information. I'm rooting for Favre. Green bay fans shouldn't be bitter about Favre leaving, not like he didn't want to play at Green Bay anymore.

Learn your facts.

It's a pretty stupid point, just ask Namath, Unitas, Dickerson, or Emmitt.
