Israel is as much as responsible for whats going on today as the Islamic world. They both use Terror, dont fool yourself. IF there is gonna be any action, here is the way its going down:

US attacks Iraq -> Iraq attacks Israel -> Israel attacks Iraq back -> No Oil for us -> We migh end up with a Hiroshima insted of NYC and pay $10 per gallon of gas.

Utterly ridiculous. If the arabs lay down their weapons the violence ends. If Israel lays down their weapons Israel ends. It's that simple. The arabs are fighting for religious fanatacism, the Israelis are fighting for their own survival. Ask the Palestinians how they were treated when Egypt held the Gaza Strip and Jordan held the West Bank. They were little more than cattle, yet there was no bombing and no push to establish a Palestinian homeland. It was only an issue when some idiots decided that would make a good cause to cover up the fact that all they wanted to do was to kill Jews.

You've totally missed the point on what Buchanan has said for years.

If it weren't for our support, Israel would be gone. And if Israel was gone, I couldn't be happier; the region would be less US hostile, and the true citizens of that area would control it. No longer would the US have to back up a terrorist nation (Israel), we could be truly soverign.

Remember how this all started??? ISRAEL took the land away in 1969, and now Arabs are trying to get it back because they have been living in tents for 30 years... Its not terorrism as much, its survival tactics, guerilla warfare.

I know i am going to get flamed for this, but look at where the US postings are in afghanistan, right along where the pipleline US wanted to build... the Talibans would not allow it though... would you be surprised if that pipeline would be built now? i woudn't...

Regarding the 9/11 if the US is going to act as a world-police, they should be expected to be targets... that is not to say that 9/11 was right though... maybe someone understads without flaming me...

I do not say that america had it coming, but they had to expect some kind of attack....

So, where is this map you are reffering to which lays out ALL US encampments which are directly where the purposed pipeline was to be built? I'm not saying it won't happen.......it well may and if it does, it will benifit many people besides the US. As far as your statement though that the US "postings" are dight along where the pipline was to be built............my god that was going to be one odd pipeline if it follows the present US encampents..........😉

I will also ask, how did the US come to be thought of as the "World Police"???? Perhaps because whenever NATO or the UN wanted or needed something done, US forces were asked to do it...........and we did! I know though........I don't agree with it either......especially anymore, but, I do not agree with isolationism either. Perhaps the US should just either withdraw from the UN or refuse any UN/NATO peackeeping/police missions in the future...........

Israel did not "take the land away" in 1969, they won the land when they were illegally invaded by (drumroll) Arabs. Let's see, what was the motivation for those attacks? GagHalfrunt, your link doesnt work, and besides i have done my reserach on this subject... I know what really went down, and how the Palestinian people were forced to leave their land because Israel tanks pushed them out. I know the previous history as well.

Its fullish for you to say that Arab extemists want to get rid of everyone who is not like them...

Also have you maybe NOTICED how its THE WORLD vs USA + Israel at this point? I am sure Europe, Russia, Japan, China, etc DONT KNOW their history as well? Hah, you sir are mistaken.

The US came to be the world police because the US does not want to agree with the rules that the UN enforces, the US has gone way beyond what the UN has ever asked of them...

The US is the world police because it benifits them...

The US is already withdrawing from the UN, many things that the UN has decided the last year have been revoked by the US... the fight against biological weapons, the international court of Haag and at least four others...

Americans believe in their country, cool, so do i in my country... but to think that you are in control of the entire planet is to have the ideas that someone had 60 years ago...

The UN is one instance, the US is another... and it is sad, the UN was supposed to include the US...

I am surprised that you could write that much text of utter bs... actually, the land was sold to the Jews by someone that occupied it...

Soooo, you are wrong... and actually, i do not mind the conflict... let them kill eachother, until they are tired of death, but what i do object to is the sponsorship that US is giving Israel... don't you have homeless to feed? feed them before supporting other countries warfare...

I really don't give a damn, if the US can draw some benefit from the disaster, more power to them! but i think that the US should think about WHAT caused the attack... it was NOT random, i believe anyone would agree on that...

World Police is the role of the UN not the US...
 
The truth is... USA is all alone at this point. Thank GOD we have out planes and tanks and ships... Everyone is afraid of us, otherwise we would be the hunted ones. As much as i hate Gore, maybe he should have been the one.. Wait, well i dont know, both Bush and gore are really bad.
