AZGamer you vile idiot.
Again, can't you at least think up an arguement instead of using personal attacks?

AZGamer, do you even know how Isreal came into the territory that they possess (and some which they have given back up)? And shame on you, as a supporter of Pat "Mr. Soveriegnty" Buchanan you should know better than to slam a country that is defending itself.
Utterly ridiculous. If the arabs lay down their weapons the violence ends. If Israel lays down their weapons Israel ends. It's that simple. The arabs are fighting for religious fanatacism, the Israelis are fighting for their own survival.
No joke... the original story did come out of haaretz...one of the more liberal Israeli papers..Originally posted by: aphexII

Hmm, and how did that war come about???? Who started it and why????Originally posted by: lizium

Remember how this all started??? ISRAEL took the land away in 1969, and now Arabs are trying to get it back because they have been living in tents for 30 years... Its not terorrism as much, its survival tactics, guerilla warfare.
So, where is this map you are reffering to which lays out ALL US encampments which are directly where the purposed pipeline was to be built? I'm not saying it won't happen.......it well may and if it does, it will benifit many people besides the US. As far as your statement though that the US "postings" are dight along where the pipline was to be built............my god that was going to be one odd pipeline if it follows the present US encampents..........😉Originally posted by: SnapIT
For a long time it was the west world against the east, then it was the west world against the arab world, now it is the US against the world...
The void grows deeper...
I know i am going to get flamed for this, but look at where the US postings are in afghanistan, right along where the pipleline US wanted to build... the Talibans would not allow it though... would you be surprised if that pipeline would be built now? i woudn't...
Regarding the 9/11 if the US is going to act as a world-police, they should be expected to be targets... that is not to say that 9/11 was right though... maybe someone understads without flaming me...
I do not say that america had it coming, but they had to expect some kind of attack....

Have you even bothered looking into the history of the area before casting blame in the wrong place? Apparently not. Israel did not "take the land away" in 1969, they won the land when they were illegally invaded by (drumroll) Arabs. Let's see, what was the motivation for those attacks? It wasn't the plight of the Palestinians, after all, the disputed lands were in arab control at the time. So why the invasions? Simple, the Arabs wanted to exterminate Jews and eliminate Israel. As ALWAYS happens when an arab army attacks a non-arab army, they got their butts kicked and went running home with their tails between their legs. So Israel took the lands as spoils of war. Take a good look at your history books to determine what happens to land following wars. The winners usually gain some and the losers usually lose some. Perhaps if Egypt, Jordan and Syria did not unite in a cause to exterminate a rival religion they'd still hold the lands, but that's all water under the bridge. Now, let's go back to those pesky old history books you're trying to ignore. Read up on the plight of the "Palestinians" when the Gaza Strip and West Bank were under arab control. The residents were living in what amounted to concentration camps. Things were no better, and in many cases were worse than they are under Israeli control. Remember that the cause to establish a Palestinian homeland did not start until they found out they could kill Jews in the attempt. When the residents of the GS and WB were under arab control they were not fighting for a homeland or engaging in a "guerilla war" to shake off their oppressive masters. All the troubles in the area stem from Islam fanatics refusing to accept that Jews can live in the same neighborhood. Everything began with Arab attacks on Jews and the violence continues due to arab attacks on Jews. Not to gain a homeland, not to get back land, not to free the "Palestinians" (hell, that word was adopted in 1972 to make their cause seem Biblical rather than hate-motivated), but only because Islamic extremists do not live and play well with others. They want to exterminate Israel, they want to exterminate us and they want to exterminate anyone that isn't them.

I will also ask, how did the US come to be thought of as the "World Police"???? Perhaps because whenever NATO or the UN wanted or needed something done, US forces were asked to do it...........and we did! I know though........I don't agree with it either......especially anymore, but, I do not agree with isolationism either. Perhaps the US should just either withdraw from the UN or refuse any UN/NATO peackeeping/police missions in the future...........
